What trash his family members must be (or at least the ones who stood up yelling) to think that this person could grab a gun, shoot a cop at point blank range, and then flee the scene only to be caught later, not dead, but with a swolen face. They should be grateful he wasn't shot on site. I think that only law abiding citizens should have the PRIVILEDGE of rights afforded by our Bill of Rights. The instant you take the life of another human being, especially in cold blood, the priviledge of your rights ceases to exist. The police should be able to do whatever they want to you. How many people does the guy have to shoot in the face before justice is truly done? They'll splash video footage of this guy's swollen face all over the news, but they won't show any footage of the cops face after he was shot. What about the cop for chrissake!? Not to mention the reason he was in the precinct being questioned in the first place.........the murder of an elderly woman!! My opinion is they took it easy on this lowlife.
