I haven't seen em live...which is sad, seeing I am Canadian and they always tour here. Whenever they are touring, their concerts close to me always seem to be at a time when I can't go. I also am a big fan of Great Big Sea, but for some reason, scheduling has caused me to miss 3 concerts close by to me in the past 2 years. I swear, this next time around, I will not miss either, as they both have a reputation for being great live.

No, but now I'm curious...time to DL....
Mrs. P, Great Big Sea is all about being upbeat and different. Suggested songs:
Lukey's Boat, Consequence Free, End Of The World, Everything Shines, Goin' Up, Ordinary Day, Sea Of No Cares, When I'm Up
Happy downloading...I mean...shopping...

My favorite Poi Dog is that live double cd set. Sandra at the Beach is one of my faves along with the Catacombs. The second disk though...that's when the band really gets their groove going. If you don't have it, pick it up and enjoy some Poi Dog again! If you don't have any BNL (Barenaked Ladies) pick up the Gordon cd sometime...that's my favorite.Originally posted by Cory
Oh Mrs. P I use to love Poi Dog Pondering...haven't heard them in years...I listen to anything but mainstream music...the more unusual the better...I love you even more now!! :inlove:

I have seen them several times. The first time i saw them was at the student center at Washington & Lee University in 1992, right before they released the Gordon album. It was a free show and they were unknowns. It was pretty sweet. Seen them several times since and would go again in a heartbeat.Originally posted by MrsPuddlesFL
Have you seen any of their performances? OMG they're nuts!
