Definitely shouldn't be and everyone who knows anything about MMA knows that.

I'm pretty sure he is. Arlovski and couture didn't have to wait any more than two fights before they got a title rematch.

What makes Hughes the #1 over GSP? And before long, someones going to have to start paying attention to Kos.

GSP will come back and kill him, its like the first Liddel Vs Couture, they didn't take their opponents seriousely and the other capitalised.

I was gonna go up to manchester for April 21 but there are only the £200 and £1500 tickets left by the time I got back from Africa. Fuck paying that I'll get PPV instead as for the first time its available in the UK for this match.

Because Hughes has already had a match after losing the belt by beating Lytle. GSP just lost the belt, therefore they will make him fight someone else before they will give him a shot again. Hughes will fight serra and get the belt. Gsp will fight someone else and then get a rematch with hughes. If Gsp gets the belt back, there will be a rematch with serra. I can't really see koschek and sanchez being up there at the top of the ww category. Now that sherk and penn aren't there anymore, it is thin, but still owned by the same two guys. It'll take some time and more experience before they are ready to challenge the crown.

Makes no sense... matchmaking has $$ in mind... why give it to Hughes and not GSP again? I mean, GSP did totally and completely tool Hughes.

As for Kos and Diego, they're going to have to give one to Kos eventually, even if he gets dominating it... he's earning it. I like this scenario:

Hughes vs. Serra (although Hughes doesnt deserve it)

                GSP vs. Kos

Winner of GSP vs. Kos gets the winner of Serra vs. Hughes.

Totally understand what you're saying, but the ufc never sees it that way. I like the line up you put, but you know dana won't give kos a shot that fast. He wouldn't even give it to diego after how many wins? He doesn't want to totally kill all his talent too soon.
