  • Pacman Jones suspended for all of 2007 season

It's about damn time somebody had the gonads to lay down the law for guys like this. The NFL comissioner wrote letters to both Pacman Jones and Chris Henry and told them that this was their last chance to salvage their NFL careers. If anyone in any other professional environment acted like this, they would lose their jobs. I think the NBA needs to adopt something like this too.

-Jones' mother, Deborah Jones, said: "I just pray that this can be changed. This is not fair for him. It's just not fair."

What the hell is not fair? That he had a great thing and is fucking it up...

Being from WV, where Pacman played his college ball, I can say.... he's a thug. All this was brought on by his feeble attempts to be "hard".

Good. This has to be done now. Each year gets worse and worse. These assholes do not want to be football players anymore, they want to be celebrities. Each year I get more and more disgusted with the lack of passion for the sport these players display. They would rather practice for a dance in the end zone then they would practice the game..

I miss guys like Tom Rathman and Art Monk and Jerry Rice and Mike Singletary etc. They went out and played football, were damn good at it and didn't say a word about it. Bring back the Butkus days. That guy was a slow white guy but man could he hit. And he didn't give a damn about his body or his image. I want to see more "smashmouth" football as Madden would say, although he's a deuchbag. :D
