Something weird I just learned about Pittsburgh

There isn't any beer stores or gas stations that sell a 12 pack or under. The beer store can only sell cases by law. To get anything at a 12 pack or under, you have to go to a bar and you get charged bar prices. So I bought two twelve packs (they have to sell them as a 24 pack basically to abide by the laws) for 20.59. At best a bar would sell me a 12 pack for 18 bucks. So either they want you to get ripped off or real drunk here.

In South LA. you can buy alcohol or beer till 2 a.m. anywhere, (gas station, store that is open, etc...).

In Texas and Oklahoma it's until 12, but you can bye it anywhere. That's what I grew up knowing. Then in Cali you can buy it almost 24/7 it seems. So that's why it was so weird to go looking for a 12 pack yesterday and I had to buy two 12 packs.

Welcome to PA! I forgot about that shit. I'm up here right now visiting family. You only have bars and distributors too get beer. Bars can sell 6 packs, but no more than two per person and distributors can only sell cases. I got used to being able to go to any gas station in Florida to grab beer at anytime.
