Thanks everyone (most of all My FitnessBrat :heart: )...

I took 2nd in the Open Light-Heavy class - it was the toughest class of the show according to the judges/audience of course (;) ) with 5 guys total - I had no qualms with 2nd as the guy who beat me took the Open Overall and pretty much deserved it hands down - I can live with that if I have to....

I learned a lot about myself in these last few days though - I played around with carbs and different foods/liquids and figured out some things work and some don't - I used this show to let me know what to do/not to do for my next one so I'm happy anyways - besides - with the way #1 looked I couldn't have walked away with it as it was (although I looked DAMN good yesterday afternoon)......

One more show scheduled for 5/19 BUT since I'm going to be out of school until 6/11 I may hold on and do the Southern Classic on 6/2 - I would love to come in tip top shape for 5/19 and then just hang on until 6/2 - we'll see though - money and time all seem to be catching up with me :P....

I will get pictures and stuff up when I get them - as usual the ones I have aren't that great :mad:

I left the show and ate about $85 worth of sushi and now I'm sitting all alone at IHOP with what looks to be enough empty dishes for a part of 12 - gonna go back to my room soon and set the alarm for the 6am buffet at the hotel and I've got a kick ass list of places to stop on the way home (cheesecake factory, dairy queen, whataburger and so on) - hope I don't pop :)

Nah - AL's rules don't allow me to compete in anything but Open - they have a novice level for first timers and then a junior level for anyone never having won an overall or placing of top 5 in open and the open placing is the part that killed me - it's okay though - a friend of mine was like "if you aren't f'ing coming to take the Open Overall then you don't need to even be on stage - f the small fries and cowboy up" - I thought that was priceless :P

Sorry about the food deal - I will be right back on track tomorrow morning so you won't be alone ;)
