  • Assisted Suicide Concert

This shit is pretty crazy. This band "Hell On Earth" had scheduled a concert in St. Petersburg, Fl. and as part of the stage show, they were going to perform euthanasia (assisted suicide so to say) on the lead singer's terminally ill friend, as per his request. The owner of the club knew this from the beginning and had agreed to it. However, now the Florida Governor's Office has forced the City Of St.Pete, to force the club owner to cancel the show. Here is a link if you care to know the specifics.

Yes...it's been all over the news down here. Personally, I think it's one thing for a terminally ill patient to want to end it all, but to do it on a stage in front of strangers is pretty messed up. Supposedly they're trying to make a stand for the terminally ill who no longer wish to struggle and fight, but I don't buy it...I think the band is just trying to gain attention for themselves.

I agree that the band is trying to use it to gain notoriety, as well as carrying out an oath to a friend. It's worked for them already, I have never heard of them until now.
