All of the fighters in pride will be assimilated into the ufc. Or at least the good ones. Fedors contract is the first one in the works right now. I don't know what they'll do with the titles though, but hendo seems to be in the works for rampage already.

that's funny... these are just amateurs.... that make millions of dollars for kicking people's asses. I'm sure a professional boxer can box better than the majority of ufc fighters, but can he take kicks, grapple, wrestle and fight submissions?? Hmmmm

I tend to chill out here, see whats happening and post occasionally, but I felt obligated to post after reading god son's drivel...
I hate to break it to you son, but that "wild punch" that had no power (by your esteemed estimation anyway) was actually a right hook that landed right on the Liddells jaw and dropped him...You can talk all the shit you want about professional boxers, the street blah blah...those MMA gloves are 4 oz slick, so your estimation that it had no power is not only a fallacy but shows your ignorance of the sport. They aren't there to provide any cushion to the blow but to protect the fighters hand so he can keep punching without breaking it. It hurts getting punched with them, far more than a boxing glove.
As for street fighting your comparing apples and oranges. There aren't any rules on the street, people are trying to maim or kill each other generally and in my experience..which is a day or two in the sun, I have yet to meet two world class athletes trained in a variety of martial artists engaged in a street fight. To say you have seen better on the street, you might as well be saying you have seen better rugby in Europe...its not even in the same realm.
As for Rampage being on The Best Damn Sports show and looking tiny...the hosts are a former NBA basketball player who is 6'11 260 pounds..Rob Dibble is a former major league baseball player that had a 99 mph fastball and at the start of his career was 6'4 230 pounds...and Rodney Peete is a former NFL Quarterback and was 6'0 230 pounds during his career....Rampage fights at lightheavyweight which is 205 and stands 6'0...once again your commentary shows your ignorance.
I think maybe you do a little research watch a few fights maybe go down to a local gym and roll with some of the guys...then come back and talk some educated smack if you feel your shit doesn't stink....cause all I am hearing coming from you is white noise.........

at 205, he won't loook big in clothes, but remember he hardly has an ounce of fat and fighters can't have volume muscle like bodybuilders it creates too much oxygen debt and your heart has to work over time. The only exceptions are the likes of Jeff Monson and sure enough he blows like a volcano after one roundOriginally posted by Gods SonRampage is a pretty good southern fighter.Out of beautiful Tennessee.Hes a lil dude though. He was on the best damn sports so and looked like a child among men.
