How do you crash on the autobahn? Traffic is so low and it's just pure open road. I plan to go back someday for sure.

The problem is that everyone is on the autobahn, from sports cars doing 200mph to lumbering trucks doing a third of that. It is the difference in speeds that makes it dangerous.

From what I have read, that is not the case. I have read there are many traffic jams many times a day.

that's some messed up shit. those cars wrecked are still probably worth more then anything i own.

Maybe close to the big cities like Munich and Berlin, but pretty much everywhere in between, there was like very light traffic. However, it has been many years since i've been there so I could be wrong.
