I have always found it interesting when people say that. Then why are they not in the NBA? Better how? More Flash? Better at 5 on 5? Better at not fouling? It's much different to play in an organized game than a game of street ball.Originally posted by THE BOUNCERi have seen better BB players on the street...

my comment was a joke in reference to his comments of UFC fighter being amatures and seeing better fights in the streets.Originally posted by ShibbyI have always found it interesting when people say that. Im glad you said that.Since I do live in the Breeding grounds of the best atheletes in the world.Maybe youve heard of Ray Allen. He played at Sumter high school.A couple years ago an ESPN reporter asked him who was the best player he ever played against. He replied Clifton Jackson, the forward from Hartsville High.Clifton never went to college. So maybe you did see better in the street.Originally posted by THE BOUNCERmy comment was a joke in reference to his comments of UFC fighter being amatures and seeing better fights in the streets.

Street ball is not basketball - well, it is a kind of basketball where you are allowed to travel, double dribble and otherwise break the rulebook on every play. I'm not saying it isn't fun to watch and the streetballers sure have a lot of razzmatazz but they invariably don't make it in the NBA because they don't have the team skills and discipline to play a team game.Originally posted by Gods SonIm glad you said that.Since I do live in the Breeding grounds of the best atheletes in the world.Maybe youve heard of Ray Allen. He played at Sumter high school.A couple years ago an ESPN reporter asked him who was the best player he ever played against. scrum You quoted my post but did you read it?Its not even about street ball.Well sort of,Its about a soon to be NBA hall of famer saying the best player he ever saw was an opponent of his in High school.Jackson never went on to college because of grades and whatnot. Its safe to say he had NBA potential.Alot of these guys walk the street, was my meaning.Ray Allen played against Jordan,Barkley,Wilkins,Lebron,Kobe,Shaq...But he said his high school opponent was the best he ever saw.
