  • Kris Dim suffers Heart Attack..

He dropped to the ground while he was in the gym. He went through some surgeries and is recovering now. He is 34 years of age.

Weather or not he had a genetic condition I think it is fair to say that drugs had something to do with this. I doubt he will ever be back up on stage.

I've always liked his look - didn't he just get his pro card last fall in Atlanta?

Damm, what is it, whats going on? ok Mike Mattarazo used to eat loads too much beef (bad cholesterol), Muntzer and that little guy in the 90's it was diuretics but this stuff keeps on happening.

Is it always at the point of competition or just before, if so is it diuretics?

otherwise I just don't quite get it, they work out regularly, eat well, get their vits, sleep, try not to stress etc

thats not really the reality of it bro. when something is done to an extreme, something has got to give. pro bodybuilding is about as extreme as it can get. lets say that maybe he had a genetic condition that may have given him some problems when he got older (60-70's). add in all the drugs and hormones, add in the all the food, add in the extreme training, add in the water depletion and diuretics, add in the ups and downs up bulking/ cutting.. all those extremes took its tool and now he is dealing with this problem at 34.

I've always wondered how our bodies handle/age etc when we are shoving in 7 or 8 meals a day instead of a typical 3-4-5 person - not even considering supplements/drugs etc the excessive food/calories and the bodies work in digesting/expelling has to take its toll on certain organs etc...
