Eh! you mean you see him as one dimensional?

Tank was a knock out puncher that would gas after 5 mins, Brock is a wrestler

As a matter of fact I do. Liddell was a wrestler too, but once he's on the ground, it's still a done deal. Wrestling is a good skill to have, but I don't think it's something that will really win fights for you. Great for a defensive edge. Probably why tito hasn't really excelled. Couture is a good wrestler, but he utilizes other things like the clinch. Brock is just a gnp'er. Guys like that overcommit and leave too many openings. But I guess we'll see when he fights someone like sapp or lebanner.

It's great for grappling and pretty much a staple that you should have, but no one submits anyone with just wrestling. Back in the old days of mma when jiu jitsu was still new, guys like severn and coleman were racking in wins cause that was the only form of grappling that anyone knew. Now days, that just isn't the case. From a personal standpoint, wrestling for me helps in my defense, but my jj is what I consider my offense on the ground. I feel to totally excel at this sport, you need to be a hybrid fighter of at least two to three different styles. Thai boxing, wrestling, and some from of jiu jitsu.

Lesnar is a fricking 290lb monster with freakish strength. I'd love to see someone on the street go at it with him.

thats just it with him, he's not 290lb natty, but he's huge and strong and a good technical wrestler which like B says seems to be the best single skill in mma.

While jj etc are important to know, even just so you can defend them, I can't see even the likes of Frank Mir getting BL exposed abd finishing him, it would be like trying to out grapple jeff monson, just too strong. BL won his last fight through wrestling and gnp, who would stp him.#

Cant wait to see him fight Hong MAN cHOI

If mir would just do some fucking cardio and drop that baby already, he would handle brock. Look what he did to sylvia? That's the whole thing, people just don't associate bjj with the heavyweights. They think it's all brute strength and ground and pound. But look at why fedor and arlovski were so good. Submission skills. Even monson would handle brock. Brock hasn't been exposed to good grappling skills yet. I doubt he'd know what to do if someone got a hold of his arm or leg.
