Thanks FB. Had a nice time yesterday, topped off by letting my son take a shot at learning how to drive a standard transmission. Yesterday was his 15th birthday so I'm happy to report he'll see sixteen and I still have a car that's drivable.

Sat. night I went to eat with just the wife and Sunday went to the zoo with the wife and son. Came home from the zoo missing his shoes so I had to go back. I found his shoes though so everything was ok.

Not really. It's nice to be outside walking around for couple hours. Just talking, relaxing and watching my son have so much fun. But yes I can pretty much tell you the order of the animals along the path.

Spent the afternoon at my ex-wife's folks - ate like someone was paying me to and slept it off watching the race - took my son to the park and then putt-putt after I woke up and ate some more...

I don't "hang out" there crackhead - my son was there with his mother and her family - I'm not going to miss out on seeing him just because his mom and I didn't work out - we've managed to rise above what "most" divorced parents deal with...

you didn't say your ex-wife or your son was there. the way you said it sounded like you were hanging out with them, ate some food, slept, and watched some race (probably Nascar since you are from the south. :D) then you left and and took your son out. now that i read it again i understand what you were saying but i am sure you can see how i read it also.
