too expensive for me right now, and I sometimes leave my phone on my lap in the car and... seconds later I'm getting out and the phone is on the ground. $150 phone, not a big deal, sucks, but oh well. $500 with a touch screen. I'll wait for it to drop a few pennies.

another reason not to get it... if its the next big thing in cell phones and becomes trendy, I wouldnt wanna be called a fag by the bouncer. Its bad enough he doesnt like the ipod trend haha

I have cingular and I use their PDA phone model #8125 it does everything the iphone does but it's pc based so I won't be buying the iphone anytime soon.

na its a pretty cool gadget and i wouldn't mind having one. i am just not going to spend $500 on in.

I'm sure if you get a plan it won't be so bad - my crackberry was at least that much a few years ago but I got a plan that cut the price in half and at the time I had a corporate account that covered the difference and I paid nothing out of pocket...

The price will definitely come down. They want people to sign up for service, buy the phone, etc. I haven't looked at the phone, but if it had all te features I need/want and a good carrier, I'd buy it. I got my phone for a great price, but had to pay full price for the second one after it was stolen. I'd pay it again and again if I had too though - it's worth it to me! :wacko:
