    agreed. shitty service = shitty tip. everyone works hard, if you don't do your job, you don't get paid.

      I thought before that there should be an automatic 10% added to the bill. Then if you feel they deserve more than you can add more. If you feel they don't deserve the 10% then you should talk to the manager to have it removed. That would also notify the manager of the problems so that the service can continue to improve.

            I have 2 tattoos, the one going down my arm cost about 600 bucks, but I tipped him 100 bucks. In my opinion, these are permanent things, and if you plan on going back to him, it can't hurt to tip him well... he will remember it next time.
