    Just a thought. ESPN now televises hotdog eating contests, and yet bodybuilding has not been televised on ESPN for years... Just a thought.

        It's because they have associated it with the 4th and it's more like watching a train wreck than a sport. All the other eating contest don't get this kind of attention.
