  • Women Multivitamins

    Ladies,
I am looking for some multivitamins to fill the gaps in my diet and make me a little bit stronger. I am a college basketball player so going with the multivitamins is the safest route for not loosing the scholarship.
Right now I am lifting 3 times a week plus planning on incorporating cardio 3 times a week as well. Soon, however, I am going to increase the cardio and will add bball workouts.
Is there a way of choosing the right multivitamins? or any would do?
all the comments and suggestions are welcome.

I just use Viactive (the chews) because I can't stand the taste of vitamins. I also take extra calcium on top of that.

I'm not sure I like your attitude today :spank:

When you can start naming things I can't do, due to age - I'll start entertaining your comments. :P

I usually don't recommend GNC for anything but they make a great multi-vitamin. Here is a link to their womens multi. http://www.gnc.com/product/index.jsp...316&cp=2618597

Not really sure you would want to focus on the multivitamin aspect as much. Yea, they're ok to have, but I think you'd want to focus more on supplements like taurine, citrulline malate, bcaa's, etc. Stuff that will help give you a boost in energy and help speed up recovery time.

Thanks Bouncer, I was actually looking at this one, but I am not a GNC fan either so I wasn't sure if that would be any good.

I am just afraid that the supplements I would use would end up on the banned list for the NCAA. I cannot risk it, so I try to play it very safe.

GNC makes the best multi on the market in my opinion. thats about the only thing they do good. the price on the multi is not to bad either.

i would say that it is better then that one. the time release alone makes it a better option.

Well I'm sure your eyesight was better when you were younger - I'm sure you could fit in a toddlers size 9 shoe at some point and can't now - I'm sure your knee didn't "squeek/creak" when you were younger and on and on and on :D :D :D...

I know, it's weird. It's mental - when I HAD to take vitamins they used to make me sick (literally) and ever since then I just get weird about vitamins and their taste...
