I think the world is just becoming sicker. I don't think it's more, I think it's just more media coverage now. The justice system is weak, and over the years has shown that there's really no consequence for criminal actions. Society is going to shit. How people are being raised is another issue. I mean shit, 10 teenagers gang rape a mother and force her son to join in, come on man, what's the world coming to?

I think part of the contribution is the outlets for people with weird thoughts. They see in the media that they are not the only ones, search the internet to find others with similar thoughts and now they have a support group. Suddenly they don't feel there might be something dangerous in their thoughts...
