It's fun so that you can see if you know your lyrics. I also watched The Singing Bee with Joey Fatone last week. It's a bit of a different concept since contestants go head to head most of it and the total possible payout is a lot less.

Have you watched the new show that Jimmy Kimmel hosts on Friday night called Set For Life? I don't think it will last long. It is so slow paced feeling and there is no real viewer interaction... Meaning there is nothing you can guess, try to figure out or play along at home in any way.

Some of those people(within all the shows)need to be at the gym and getting healthier.

I saw Set For Life - it reminded me of Deal or No Deal (which I don't like) and I agree - it's pretty boring.
