I am selling all of my professional lawn equipment. I put an ad in the paper for $6500.00. Felt it was a really good price, hoping it would sell quickly. Anyway, I just got a call from a guy who wants to see it tomorrow night. He said if I would take payments for it, he would give $8000. I told him I would consider the payments. My question is this... if I agree to take the payments, even though I will have a contract, how do I ensure i get my money? I guess I am asking what you guys would do...and how can you ensure you get your money. Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the advice, I will look into the Craigs list. I am not familiar with it, but will check it out. By the way, you read those Harry Potter books yet :nerdnew:

the only thing you can ensure is that he would not make those payments. even if he did make them but was late like every other month, you would be all stressed out etc..Originally posted by jwoodyThats what I figured, I mean how can you completely ensure you get your money? Guess you really can't.
Thanks
