cali gun laws suck ass

why is it that a couple of hours from me in nevada you are allowed 50cal suppressed sniper rifles, fully automatic machine guns with gernade launchers and all kinds of other crazy stuff, night vision,100round drums,ect. but here in cali you cant even own a gun that is black.
are any of you in to guns (shooting)? i have my share of guns but find it a pain to get more. its not gonna stop me but a pain none the less.

You can't own a gun that is black? What's up with that? I'm not really into guns but I have a 30-06 rifle and a 10mm pistol. Both are fun to shoot. I have a clip for my 10mm that holds 30 rounds. It's fun to rapid fire all 30 rounds and then see how bad of a shot you really are. :) First 2 rounds are usually right on and then I get a very inaccurate spread!

I think he was kidding about the black gun thing. Problem in cali is if you're into the assault rifles and weapons deemed to be mass destruction weapons like a barrett .50 bmg. Ammo prices are on the rise too. I'm thinking of getting a .22 now instead. But frickin cali has laws against suppressors too. I own a sig p229 and a remington 870 shotgun. Looking to add a .308 to the stock someday.

There's a ton of guns that are on the approved list right now that may not get renewed. I heard the desert eagle may be one of those. It's almost like you have to be a cop to own anything cool. I do know a guy who built his own ar-15 and it's exempt from the laws or something. Looking at getting a remington 700 or an m24 in .308

yes desert eagle is no more in cali. except the 44mag in black finish nuttin else. the reason i know is i just got one in march for my b-day.
building ARs is probably the only way to go. has your friend done all the research on the many many parts to choose from? if so maybe he can give me the list or maybe we can work something out to where he builds it and i buy it.

nice collection bro. how do you like the aim point? i just got a eotech for my HK/benelli m1 and i like it alot. but there is no magnification on it like the aim point. the only thing i didnt like about the aim point is you have to look threw it like a normal scope. i like the feild of view with the eotech. but if i build or buy a AR i think aim point will work for CQs and longer shooting.

you P22 is sick when i first seen you HK i thought i was gonna be a MK23 are all your ARs stag? any problems? i was thinkin bushy but only cuzz that is all i ever hear about i have to do more research on armalite and the new smith and wesson. any input?

S&W is made by Stag. Armalite is decent as is Bushmaster. Some things like carrier key staking and MP tested bolts made me lean more toward Stag. Two of my ARs are RRA and two are Stag. Never had any problems from any of them.

And I agree the EOtech has a better FOV but the Aimpoint has the better battery life. I've had the one Aimpoint for a year now and never bothered to turn it off, still on the same battery.
