Since we don't have access to email throughout the day it's a way for us to leave messages for each other when we can't get to a phone. For instance if she is in class and can't call her voice mail or if I'm in the middle of filling some orders, we can just look at the text while we continue doing what we need to.

my hubby is a txt mssgr! OMG!
I agree it takes me like 5 mins to write a msg...
hubby had one of those little typewriter phones so it was easy for him to do... I'm texting on a reg one, so again it takes forever and would be MUCH easier to call.
