Who is getting Halo 3?

I'm not entirely sure how I feel about it. It's campaign only lasted 6 hours and it was easy. Graphics are decent, but GoW was better. Haven't played it online yet, but it looks okay. I was a little disappointed and I have been a Halo fan for nearly 6 years...I think the extreme change to the controls has sent me off a little bit. I'm sure I will grow to love it.

LMAO. play it on Heroic or legendary and tell me it is easy. you either played it on easy or normal. the graphics are different from gears. gears is very technical ie unreal engine 3 etc. halo is more artsy with huge environments etc.. as far as the controls, ummm are they not exactly them same as halo 2? not sure what you are talking about.

Beat it on Heroic, playing it on Legendary now. It is honestly a dumb AI, the brutes are sooo easy to kill. the original elites were insanely hard to beat. And the controls, try reloading when you are used to hitting x and instead you throw some confusing object. Its so un-natural right now. I also don't like that you can remove the turret gun. Like I've said, it has some major changes from halo 1 and 2, but i said the same thing about 2 when it came out. dual wielding and all...so I'm sure I'll grow to love it. I'm very critical to new versions of things I love. Hell, I still love the e30 more than any other bmw...

Have you ever seen the Halo 2 fastest legendary single segment run? Cody Miller did it in 3.5 hours without dying once. The entire game, solo, legendary, didn't die once. You can find the video online. It's pretty impressive.

it really is an easy short campaign, especially compared to the original halo....im playing it on legendary now, but i get bored and stop like every hour. its a very repetitive campaign.

I said I didn't like it now, but I'm sure it will grow on me. The campaign is lacking, as it was in Halo 2. Out of the 3 games, the original has the best campaign by far. However, I like online multi player game play and NO ONE is playing Halo 2 anymore...which kinds sucks IMO.

i know halo 2 is but i thought i had read that halo 1 isnt? there are a bunch of games that dont work on the 360.

Wow, I played for the first time this weekend. Didn't play the campaign, a bunch of friends linked two systems together. Awesome! I love the graphics. Pretty cool. It takes some getting used to, but I like it. One thing I didn't like is only being able to carry two grenades of each type at a time. I use stickies quite a bit and in multiplayer, you're up close alot so they come in handy. :D Being able to pick up the turret guns is awesome. You move slow as heck with em, but if they don't take you out right away, they're toast. The vehicles are easier to take out too.
