Who is getting Halo 3?

i know halo 2 is but i thought i had read that halo 1 isnt? there are a bunch of games that dont work on the 360.

if they had not made the original halo compatible with 360, i probably would never have bought it. i was far too big of a fan. i have to guess you can get it online really cheap. try the campaign. its awesome.

back to halo 3. anyone found all the skulls yet? i really want the cool looking armor.

i have all the skulls. go to google and type in halo 3 skull locations. the one that gives you the armor involves jumping through the different rings in a certain order.

my friend sent me a link. i don't know if its worth it to go back just to find the skulls, but that armor is soooo cool.

its easy dude, set the skill level to normal. you dont even have to complete the level. once you find the skull you can end the level. to find all the skulls if you do it co-op you can do it in about an hour and a half.

I've been toying with buying the PS3 or XBox 360, finally plumed for the 360 and bought Gears of War and Halo 3. Kind of absorbed in GOW at the moment but it looks great.

Does everyone elses 360 sound like a fuckin plane taking off, I have to turn the volume up just to counter it. My playstation is dead quiet, I bought the xbox pre owned

look at the back of your 360. tell me what the manufacture date is. you may have gotten an older one before they added in the new heat sinks and fans. the new ones are not as loud and they run cooler. i believe the new hardware is in consoles manufactured 7-01-07 and later.

ya gears is a great looking game. you are playing it on an HD set right? please tell me you are. lol

You have a first generation 360. End of story. That is what mine sounded like before I bought the new one. Don't worry though, you have a 3 year warranty through Microsoft and they are really good about warranty fixes.

Call of Duty 4 is looking good. I don't know the other two games. I agree that the multi-player is lame, but not because if its similarities to Halo 2, but rather the fact that on live ALL I DO is play Shoty Snipers and its getting old. I might start playing 2 via live again. Do you have Xbox live? BTW, try the original Halo its like 10 / 15 bucks used and I think you will really enjoy the campaign.

I just make arrangements with the lady these days and play when she's out or doing something else. We only have one TV, sheesh there's an idea for her christmas present! that way I could play when I like!

ya, let me know the date. sounds like an older one. you may have to order from an online place like amazon to get a new one where you are. the new ones have HDMI also. sounds like the one you have just has component. (red, green, blue)
