Played halo 3 at a friends house, god I suck at the game, it is fun though. kinda want to buy it just to play online, want to see what all the fuss is about.

ya, let me know the date. sounds like an older one. you may have to order from an online place like amazon to get a new one where you are. the new ones have HDMI also. sounds like the one you have just has component. (red, green, blue)

no the graphics are the same. the difference is the hardware is improved so that the console dosent over heat. i am surprised stores are selling a console made in 05 over there. you cant even find one any older that june 2007 consoles here.

the elite is black, has a bigger hard drive and comes with the HDMI cable included. other then that they are the same. up to you.

Are you serious? The elite comes with the fucking HDMI cable. The Halo edition doesn't come with the cable and in total I spend as much for it as for the Elite because I needed to buy a new cable. FUCK! Eh, mine looks cooler than the Elite...

you didnt need to spend much on an hdmi cable bro. www.monoprice.com sells quality hdmi cable for like 5 bucks. when it comes to an hdmi cable, there is no difference between the $50-$70 dollar monster cable and the $5 dollar monoprice cable. that had more to do with analog cables. not digital.
