Nope, not true. Anyone can make money. Just look at most pro athletes. They have money, but most of them don't know how to manage it. That's the key, knowing how to manage money. If you spread out the money in this country evenly to every person, I guarantee you that the same people would end up with all of it again after 10 years. That's because these people know how to keep the money they have and are willing to do what it takes to accomplish that. It IS hard to build companies etc. even when you have the money. How many of us wouldn't like to win the lottery? Well, did you know that most lottery winners end up bankrupt? We don't know what to do with money like that. Those people do, that's why they keep it.

I think that it's a shame that there are so many people living paycheck to paycheck struggling to make ends meet while these 400 people are hogging as much money to themselves as they can, just because they can. I know, I know, Bill Gates is the biggest philanthropist in the world too. Well, frankly, he should be. He was also the one who made the comment that making money didn't drive him, making MORE money did. That's a sickness.

point is this. the hardest thing to do is to make the money. you seem to dismiss the work that people like gates and anyone else that is rich. they worked their fucking asses off to get there. that is the hardest part.

paris hilton was an example, never said she was on the list. she makes perfumes, models, etc.. because she has been given those opportunities to do so. if she was born into a household that makes 30k a year you would never see her on a model runway. you would never see her with her own perfume. the only person worth a damn in that family is the grandfather that made the fortunes and built up the company. he did the hardest part. now the family can do what they want and get all the opportunities they want. i will say again, i have 100% respect for the self made's. not the people that are handed it.
