  • Am I the only one who thinks LSU is grossly overrated?

Im sorry guys the SEC dominance isnt there this season. And LSU isnt good as their rating. They are unable to score at all hardly in the first half this season.South Carolina probbably could have beat them if SCs offensee didnt suck ass.Mississippi st. played them hard as hell the first half,Tulane completely out played them the first half. They look and are playing like Ohio St. did last season, and i cant defend it by saying SEC because the conference is way down.Florida has proven to be choke artists, auburn isnt there,Tennesse is way off,Alabama cant handle the ACCs 7th place team.Kentucky looks good but i feel they are overrated.

I see your points, but not sure i completely agree. The SEC isn't down, they have more depth this year than ever. When SC and Kentucky emerge as conference contenders, it makes league play that much harder. There is a reason why there are 5 or 6 SEC teams ranking in the top 25. Alabama was never supposed to be great this year (yes Saban is there, but it is a rebuilding year), Auburn was injury and turnover riden for the first 4 games, Florida is still good and considering the amount of players they lost last year it's amazing they're still ranking in the top 10, UGA is tough, UT is ok. Just because they don't appear to have the best team in the nation, doesn't mean that as a conference they aren't deeper than ever.

I'm an Auburn fan, so I'll speak on AU:
They lost to Kansas State and USF. This past weekend Kansas State whipped a No 7 Texas team and USF handled the No 5 WVU pretty easy. At the end of the season those loses will be to two teams at the top of their conferences.

Which conference do you suggest is the best?

Aren't you the same fool that said that Florida, after playing the nation's toughest sked and DESTROYING ohio state in the National Championship game, wasn't one of the 2 best teams at the end of last year?

LSU has an NFL defense. I don't think they are over rated. Besides USC who else could you put number 1?

I thought LSU was better than UF last season despite the loss.

I dont know about conference but until somebody beats USF,they look the most balanced and are the best Florida team this season. BTW Texas should be 1-4 so that Kansas ST loss wasnt surprising.Kansas st wont go to a bowl Im sure.WVU was looking to lose also, after i saw them struggle with Maryland i knew it was coming soon.Sorry bro even though you beat an all hype Florida U auburn isnt that good.BTW UGA isnt good at all. They beat ole miss who looked good against the gators but its hard to get players up for georgia the week after florida.Has anyone here ever played football????LOL

Maybe nobody beats USF this season because of their cupcake schedule. They beat AU, so what. I didn't say AU was a national title contender this year. They are an average team. Beating UF doesn't change that. The Big East is worse this year than they have been for the past 2-3 seasons. The best team USF has left to play is Rutgers, which is a far cry from the team they were last year.

Kansas St will absolutley play in a bowl game, and probably a good one. They already have 3 wins and all they need is 6 or 7 to get a bowl bid. Their remaining schedule includes Kansas/Colorado/OSU/Baylor/Iowa, none of which are even ranked.

For someone who lives in the south, you sure have no fucking clue about SEC football. No matter who is playing who, there are very few blowouts and every game counts. Just because Ole Miss played UF close has nothing to do with the UGA win. Every week in the SEC you are beaten up and struggling to play against the next team. That's why the SEC is considered the toughest conference.

And FYI, the average rank for an SEC team is 30. Which is first in the nation, with the Pac-10 behind them with an average of 36. So how does that prove your bogus theory that the SEC is down. You ain't got a clue dude!!!!
