That's crazy and pathetic. The radio is on all day at work and I would have never known about this unless you posted it. One of the big reasons I want to be a teacher and plan to finish my degree after my wife is done next year. I think kids need a mentor as much if not more than a teacher these days; and I don't want my son to grow in a world like this.

i hear ya brother. from the people committing these crimes to the people reporting on it, big fucking mess.

As a teacher I'll agree that kids need mentors, but some of them have such fucked up home lives that it's hard to get to them...

truly a tragedy.
