Who still uses a telephone line to connect to the internet?

not here. I remember it was a pain in the ass with dial-up. Not to mention when people were calling, they couldnt get a hold of us or when someone picked up the line, just slowed it down too much, hahaa

lmao, i remember that shit. i first got a computer in 1999 and we used CompuServe with a phone line connection. i can still hear the noise that phone line connection made. i thought compuserve was the internet. i didnt realize there was more. LMAO. i guess i didnt get the concept. :D

I remember how frustrating it was when you were trying to do something online and someone in the house would pick up the phone to use it, kicking you off. Then you had to log back on and redownload pages

i dont remember the whole getting kicked off thing. i thought when you picked up the phone you just heard a bunch of noises.
