  • New Puppy

So, me and the GF were bored on Sunday and she asked if we could go to the animal shelter an look at the puppies. I'm like yeah, thats cool. So we get there, and this little girl pup is in the very first crate. My GF went crazy! So we took it into the one of the rooms and played with her for a little bit. Seemed like the sweetest dog ever. Sure enough, one thing led to another, and we have a new dog. We got her back to the house and she is a little hellion! I guess she is teething so she chews everything! Oh well, she is a sweet dog though, hopefully she'll grow out of it. She's a black lab mixed with something. We can't really tell. Her ears are really fuzzy and stick up with the very tips hanging down. Any ideas?

Cute dog. We just got our Boxer pup home this past weekend as well. Smart lil bastard. He's already house broken at 9 weeks old.

It's tough to say what type of mix it is w/the pic and the age. AS it gets older all the traits will become more defined and you'll probably be able to figure it out.

congrats bro. my one worry is that people get tired of the dog or they breakup with each other and they think the dog can simply be tossed away like some material item. Don't ever do that. Stay true to that pup and we will stay loyal to you until the end. They are better friends then any human could be. They are a lot of work. If I hear of you hitting that pup or being mean to it, I will personally come and beat your ass to the ground. :)

      Cute Pup.

thanks man. as far as being housebroken she is doing great so far. she has only pissed in the house once and that was when my GF was screaming her ass off when the packers won in overtime monday night. i think she literally scared the piss out of her. other than that, she is doing great. holds it all night, stands by the door when she has to go, etc. but i forgot to mention her farts. u thought protein farts were bad? i am 21 years old and i never in my life have smelled a fart that bad from any size human being or animal. it will clear a room for 30 minutes.

Nah we both love dogs we would never do that. if we were to break up we'd be fighting over who would get it, not who would have to keep it.

Yeah my fiance and I got a puppy about 8 months ago, they had him advertised as a lab sharpae (sp?)mix and I was like okay whatever so I kept trying to figure what he was. We got him at 62lbs and he is now over 100lbs of solid muscle. Then I saw a flyer with a picture of a dog that looks exactly like him and I had never heard of the breed before. Here is a picture of what he looks like see if you guys can guess the breed.
