Does anyone remember when you didn't have to pay for dial up with Net Zero? Now that was crazy.

i remember the commercials. i never had it though. i first got the internet when we got our first computer in 1999. my mom gave it to me for christmas. it was a pentium 3 900mhz packerd bell. we got online with Compuserve. i still remember the noise from the modem and the "you have mail" once you logged in. i kinda miss those days for some reason lol.

Comcast just got busted for bandwidth shaping. They were monitoring peoples usage and limiting their bandwidth if they were using too much.

They just got caught but I believe they are being investigated by the FCC. I'll have to pull up the old article and see...I forget the details.

                        Ya ...porn is good!

I can understand to an extent if they wna charge excess usage fees (even tho more providers here now are scraping them) but to charge 15 cents a meg is crimminal like you say. On average i only use between 100-200meg a day which is nothing. I bet some of you gamers would laugh at that. Imagine what you guys would be paying on 15cents a meg.
