I'm agonizing over spending money on a new computer

I kinda wanna build a new computer, but I just don't know if its worth it. I've been looking for a while and I think this is the motherboard I'm going to base it off of because I don't wanna skimp...

but I just can't justify it because I know in a year I'll have basically no use for it. It would essentially end up with me having a dual core AMD FX-74 system with probably dual video cards. Ugh. Decisions
