na, just decided i would watch on tv each week.

i tell ya, the last few have been blah. the one they showed yesterday when they came to America and drove from Florida to Louisiana was pretty lame.

Really, that was one of my favorites. "Are you all trying to get yourselves shot?"

They have better ones coming up...

i guess i like the show more when the mix the humor with the performance cars. its a weird mix of top level technology and goof balls. but shows like yesterday kind of just feel like a reality show with nothing much to offer.

the funniest one for me was when they made the water cars. lmao

hey chris, have you been watching the reruns on BBC America lately. they keep advertising, "coming Feb 25th, new season of top gear". i think we are catching up and soon we will be seeing the episodes live as they air in england. you have to figure, they keep showing them here while the season is over and we have to catch up sooner or later. kinda cool that we wont be a season behind anymore.

There have been rumors here and there about an American version, but I don't see it holding a candle to the original. Clarckson is a character and the interactions between the hosts really makes the show. As for the US BBC catching up tot he real thing. Its been a season behind for as long as I can remember having the BBC.

yea, i dont think it could ever be as good as British version.

as for catching up. we only have 2 more episodes to go to catch up to the current season they are showing in england. so on Feb 25th, we will be within the same season they are.

Chris, you see the mustang they tested last night that didnt have the claimed horse power? what a piece of shit that car was, looked like a fucken mess on the track.

also, next week is the start of the new season. we are now in the same season that they are currently viewing in england. i think they skipped a few episodes.

I think that the 500 hp is at the crank what the GT 500 is supposed to produce. To the wheels you alway lose hp. Whenever you read the hp for any car it is at the crank. You lose a good deal of hp when you test at the wheels.

i just know that car looked like a mess around the track. they gave it so much power without upgrading anything else. the Roush mustang looked a lot better. then again, like they said, the Roush is approaching M3 prices and umm, I will take the M3.

The mustang has never really been a track car to me. I forget what the GT looked like on the track, it has been a while seen I have seen that episode. I can't imagine the rear end wanted to stay in place. Makes me think I was once crazy for considering buying one of those...thank God I stepped into an e36 M3 at the BMW dealer....never looked back at domestics after that.
