Every time I see Dick Clark since his stroke it really bothers me. I remember everyone used to say "Dick Clark never ages." I hate to see him like that. I have all the respect in the world for him, getting up in front of the world. Not sure why, just makes me sad.

I was just having this conversation with someone. They were asking the same thing - why have him continue on. But what if his mind is fine, the stroke just affected his speech? Or maybe he's the one that insists on doing the show - after all, he really doesn't do anything else. He may not be ready to hand it down.
