  • How many americans on here have passports?

    opinions seem to vary on statistics of americans that own a passport as described here;

    How many Americans own passports? (Phil Gyford: Writing)

    I just wondered of those on here do you or don't you. America is a big place with lots to offer and notable is that lack of holidays you seem to get. I get 30 days a year for example in England, average is probably about 22.

    You lot joke around lots on here which is great but sometimes when I watch TV and see American public being interviewed, great personalities though they are, they do seem to have genuinely quite insular views much of the time particularly the older generation. When they do travel they only seem to come here and ask where Mary Poppins lives:rofl:

            I have a passport and have been to Poland (and the airports in London and Germany). I was a little nervous about traveling at first and even debated putting a Canadian flag on my bag, because of all the anti-American sentiment that was out at the time.

                  I agree with your point also, Americans are fucken ignorant. I love this country but I hate many things about it and what we have become.

                  I really wouldnt mind moving to Europe right now.

                      I loved Poland and would love to live there if the work opportunities were there.

                        Poland would be too "un connected" for me. I would have to be in a modern type country. The UK would suit me well I think.

                          If you lived in Poland you would have to live in Warsaw. I would rather live in place that is just outside of a large suburb. Like when I move out of Pittsburgh I am moving to a suburb, but I would prefer to be just outside of that.

                            I wouldn't want to live in London if I lived in the UK. I would want to live maybe 15-20 minutes outside of London.

                              Careful doing that...if you're busted by a patriotic Canadian, you might be in for a rough ride. More and more, Canadians are seriously resenting it when Yanks masquerade as Canucks when travelling.
