  • Welfare poem....

Shibby found this somewhere and told me to post it.

    I cross ocean,
    Poor and broke,
    Take bus,
    See employment folk.

    Nice man treat me
    Good in there,
    Say I need to
    See welfare.

    Welfare say,
    "You come no more,
    We send cash
    Right to your door."

    Welfare checks,
    They make you wealthy,
    Medicaid it keep
    You healthy!

    By and by,
    I got plenty money,
    Thanks to you,
    American dummy.

    Write to friends
    In motherland,
    Tell them 'come
    Fast as you can.'

    They come in turbans
    And Ford trucks,
    I buy big house
    With welfare bucks

    They come here,
    We live together,
    More welfare checks,
    It gets better!

    Fourteen families,
    They moving in,
    But neighbor's patience
    Wearing thin.

    Finally, white guy
    Moves away,
    Now I buy his house,
    And then I say,

    "Find more aliens
    For house to rent."
    And in the yard
    I put a tent.

    Send for family
    They just trash,
    But they, too,
    Draw welfare cash!

    Everything is
    Very good,
    And soon we
    Own the neighborhood.

    We have hobby
    it's called breeding,
    Welfare pay
    For baby feeding.

    Kids need dentist?
    Wife need pills?
    We get free!
    We got no bills!

    American crazy!
    He pay all year,
    To keep welfare

    Running here.

We think America darn good place!
Too darn good for the white man race.

If they no like us, they can scram,
Got lots of room in Pakistan .

It is interesting that the federal government provides single refugee with
A monthly allowance of $1,890.00 and each can also get
An additional $580.00 in social assistance for a total of $2,470.00.

This compares very well to a single pensioner who after contributing
To the growth and development of America for 40 to 50 years
Can only receive a monthly maximum of $1,012.00 in old age pension
    And Guaranteed Income Supplement.
Maybe our pensioners should apply as refugees!

Lets send this to all Americans, so we can all be ticked off and maybe
We can get the refugees cut back to $1,012.00 and the pensioners up
To $2,470 00 and enjoy some of the money we were forced to submit to
The Government over the last 40 or 50 years.

Please forward to every American to expose what our elected
Politicians have been doing over the past 11 years - to the
    Over-taxed American.

SEND THIS TO EVERY AMERICAN TAXPAYER YOU KNOW

That is funny, sad, and true at the same time.

There is a lot of misinformation in that "poem."

Actually, VERY few people get into the country as REFUGEES. Per capita, our record of accepting refugees is shamefully low. And this is particularly bad since we have done more than our fair share of refugee creation in places like SE Asia. I am pretty sure the Scandinavian countries and Canada do much better than us per capita. As a matter of fact, we have a lot of skeletons in our closet regarding refugees. We enacted laws to keep Jews from Eastern Europe from immigrating in the thirties. And we all know what happened to those who wanted to get out but couldn't.

NOBODY who is a legal immigrant (not refugee) gets any "welfare checks." I don't know what the original posting is talking about. In fact, all legal immigrants have to have sponsors already in the US who will vouch that the immigrants will not go on welfare for a period of time.

The fact of the matter is that legal immigrants (and people on temporary visas) get charged taxes on things that they are not even eligible for. For example, immigrants are charged for social security while they are not even eligible to collect on.

It is easy to get caught up in the anti-immigrant rhetoric but it is important to separate the truth from the fiction.

I don't think it's about immigration, it's about illegal immigration. The facts may not be spot on, but for some reason it hits loudly. I couldn't tell you how many people in Oklahoma were getting all sorts of assistance while I was there. A lot couldn't speak english and I'm sure a lot weren't legal. But when I try to get help for my family it was damn near impossible and some stuff was impossible. So tell how it's fair that I spend 10 years working paying taxes, then when I need help for a couple years they basically tell me to fuck off.

shit I am more worried about the fuckers who were born here and leech off the system. its disgusting we give people $$$$$ to breed babies and fuck themselves up and then our soldiers don't know what "life" they will come back to after protecting our lives. sickening.

Definitely. That's a whole other frustration I have.

Agreed totally on illegal immigration. The politicians have to deal with this problem but nobody has the fortitude to do so. Hopefully with a new president next year, something will happen.
