I don't know what the hell they did but my notebook with vista on it is like speed lighting now. Much faster. Goliath, do you know what the updates did?

Did you go to the microsoft web site to get the updates or was it automatic?
I just got a new pc it's bad ass and already fast(it has more than 3K memory) so I don't think I'll be able to tell the difference.
