For me, I thought my wife was great, and I was going to marry, have kids, family, etc. then I wanted it to be w/her.

1) Same interests -- She is a bigger sports fan than me, she likes to drink beer, she enjoys poker, activities outdoors, going to the gym, & interested in having kids.

2) More intelligent than me -- I think it is great that she is a MD because I can ask her what happens in our bodies, how surgeries are performed, cause & effects of various drugs/chemicals etc.

3) Gives me freedom -- never complains and even encourages me hanging out w/neighbors instead of being by her side all of the time.

Being single was okay sometimes, but after being out, it is nice to know that someone loving is at home happy to see you when you get there.

I would marry my girl in a heart beat, she is very funny, her IQ is off the charts, (she is an investment banker)she is talented(great singer she has a cd out) she is beautiful, she gives me the freedom, I just stared my diet for my april show she is cooking all my meals and she is on my ass about eating them:D she caring, my daughter loves her and she loves my daughter, I can keep going but I think I said enough.:)

Funny you mentioned twin brother, sorry WW she doesn't have a twin brother but she has an identical twin sister.:D
Some of my friends came over couple weeks ago my girlfriend's sister was over also, when they came over my girlfriend was in the kitchen so all my friends went over to her sister and gave her a hug like they know her and when she came out of the kitchen they almost hit the floor, seeing my friends faces in shock was priceless.:evil:

You are so, so true in that statement. You have to really understand, love and make yourself happy before you can make someone else happy.

I'm not too proud to say that I feel like I did a lot of maturing & understanding myself better once I got out of my 20's.

It took me till I was close to hitting 35 to find myself... I am proud to say this because I have found some sort of peace on trying hard to let go at things in life and acceptance of what can be or what CAN'T, ouch that hurts to say. Its still ROUGH for me to do, but I focus on other great things in my life and just carry on :D

This is true to a degree I guess, but can't say I have ever experienced it because I have never been married, lol. But I can say I have lost my sex drive, when I lost love in a relationship. Some people can just have sex for the hell of it, I think it is much more pleasureable when there are feelings involved. It can touch your soul :evil:

other than that.. I love wedding cake. Its my favorite part of attending a wedding, hehe!
