man! this thing is sweet! i got a 47" 1080p lcd and a thx certified logitec 5.1 sound system! i love it! it's almost like having my own little private theater. the speakers are crazy!
just for kicks i watched star wars episode 1 last night to see how well the surround sound works - it's awesome! when the space ship thingy's fly by the screen, the sound goes from one side of the room to the other and the bass is so low it shook the whole room! LOL
i got the philips 47" from costco for like $1600...i wanted to get the 52", but i think it would have been too big. the 47" dominates the whole living room as it is. but i just couldn't justify dropping over 2 grand on a damn TV. i can't believe how expensive they are now...can you even get crt tv's anymore?
