The Chernobyl thing was by far the most interesting part of the show. Crazy to see stuff like old dolls laying around just as they were left. That soccer field thing was crazy too. Crazy how Owls were living in the rooms and such.

That show was badass. I watched it when it first came on a few weeks ago. Really does put some thoughts in your head when you realize that the world is much larger than just you and me. It is hard to rap your head around the thought of time before man.

yeah I watched the NGC version and thought it was pretty cool. Its nice to think that the earth would be able to regenerate itself if something like this did happen. The one shot of Las Vegas was kind of funny looking to me, you could totally tell it was a model, but still impressive to say the least.

it really shows how destructive and dirty we as humans are. its pretty depressing actually. we really are worthless disgusting creatures.

i found myself cheering on mother nature to totally erase our ugly buildings etc.. nature is just so much more beautiful.

yeah I kept finding myself thinking about how great it would be if all the other dumbasses were gone and it was just me and few people I care about left, but obviously I wouldnt be that lucky. The part where they said the human race came to a bottleneck of only 10000 people sounded about right. I'm sure I could be a king of some kind if there were only that many people around :o

So I went to watch my recording and it wasn't recorded. My national geographic channel is only part of my basic package in HD. So now I am downloading it. Kind of frustrating.
