Pet peeves at the gym

    theres two things that upset me in the gym.

    One is when people are working out and they do not take thier own towels and leave the machine or bench all in sweat. That shits nasty.

    Also when they do not rack the weights. Theres this one puke in the gym that Ive known for 4 years already there. Hes always doing giant sets or supersets and gets a variety of dumbells and sets up the bar with plates thrown all over. When hes done, he just leaves them there. My sister almost tripped cause the mess he left once.

            Yeah I think there is one Kung Fu guy at every gym. Sometimes they take that wooden stick and swing it around like they are some kind of ninja or something. Do that in your basement.

                I also like the UnderArmor Models. These guys wear everything UA...tshirt...shorts...spandex shorts...socks...of course it's usually some guy with a little and not really in shape to be wearing all that tight shit. LOL.
                It's not really a pet peeve as I could really care less what someone wears to the gym, but it does make me laugh.

                  good thread..what pulls my chain?1.its a given.. MR lats,quit spreadin youre wings u work out good for u.2 the bench monster, take the doubled wrapped towel off youre chest and quit archin youre back ..dam that 315 for some reason got awefull heavy didnt..3 the dingleberry that puts 5 plates on each side of the bar and does a quarter rep squat wearin his wieder belt..take it down in the hole cause the quarter rep aint empressin nobody.

                        some good answers. I might repeat a few
                        1. terrible form/"explosive" lifters-just goes to show the mentality of the gym goer who think that just moving a weight is "proper".
                        2. excessive setters- if 1,2,3 sets ain't working for you then go read a book about working out and get off my squat rack
                        3. re-racking weights- I still clean the gym up in the morning cuz the staff doesn't. I hate uneven plate trees, lol
                        4. cell phones and talkers. SHUT THE FUCK UP AND LIFT (or as I said before go read a book about how to lift)
                        5. people who don't dress their size...use a mirror

                        I am sure there are more....but its late.
