Something I don't get about hockey...

not sure i get your point. lol, every sport is a game of skill. i cant help but feel like you are saying that baseball players have more skill then hockey players. if that is the case, i disagree 100%. each sports has its own set of skills and each are equally challenging.

I was trying to say that you don't really have an appreciation for a sport until you try it. I meant no disrespect to Hockey at all. It looks easy to swing a stick, a bat, or a golf club. If I hadn't tried golf, I'd think it was easy from watching people on tv, but trust me...I realize that is not even close to true.

I think it is much easier to be a fan & appreciate the required skills in a particular sport when you've participated in it...that is all.
