How the Earth was Made

Anybody see this?

I didn't think it would be all that good, but it was very informative and interesting. They showed things like how the Earth was a ball of ice a mile thick 700 million years ago, how it got out of that stage and how they suspect life will not be possible on Earth in billions of years...that is if the planet is able to run its full life cycle.

Not sure if it was that program or another, but they said the next Ice Age would scrub away most N'eastern cities...thousands of years away though. And they did state that global warming will only slightly delay the inevitable because yes, these patterns are cylical.

i would say the earth goes through natural cycles of warming and cooling. but i would also say that never before has it happened at such a rapid pace. things happen naturally but humans also have a big impact.
