actually, the more I use it the easier it is to browse and type with it. And its faster than I expected even on the edge network. Who else here has the iPhone here??

no she dosent have the 3G one. thing that gets me is, its not much faster when she connect to our home network compared to the regular edge network that the iphone uses. our home connection is like 6000kbps . if that is any indication, i dont think the iphone can handle the increased bandwidth very well. it is bottle necking somewhere.

It's a couple of things that slows it up. I have the 8525 from ATT and it's slow as well even on the 3G. First off the WiFi on the phone is lower that that of the old wireless laptop cards. Second it only has so much RAM in order to load the pages.

Although I know the iPhone is faster than mine, but not by too much.

timma b's problem isn't so much aatter of fat fingers but rather of small brain :D

I don't have the 3g version but so far it's not that slow. I used both wifi and edge today and didn't really feel that the edge network was that much slower...

So far after a few hours of use I like it lots :)
