Single people who made >$3000 last year will receive appx. $300. Married Couples will be $600, and families can get up to $1200. There is supposed to be a upper Salary cap of 75K. So if you make more than that, you don't get shit. It may change, nothing is set yet as far as I understand the Senate and House both have bills a little different and the President has something different as well. Everyone just remember, this is putting up into about 15-20 billion in t-bills to pay for this. That means China will buy another 20 billion t-bills from us. Then Joe-Jack-Ass will go buy a product made in China. Thus, its probably not going to really help our economy much.

I think the idea is that it will increase GDP by increasing consumption making the coming recession somewhat more mild. In the long run though, its helping China much more than the US.

That is for those who do not pay any federal income taxes and make more than $3,000 would receive $300 for individuals and $600 for couples.


Those who pay federal income taxes would receive $600 checks in the mail, and married couples who file jointly would receive $1,200 and an addtional $300 per child.

I did however get my new computer and still have a good chunk in my account. I still haven't gotten my state money, prolly next week and that will be nice too.
