  • any avid readers??

I've been reading a lot of books lately. It started when I was riding the train for 3 hours a day. I'm still reading lots of books from the library now. But I've gotta cut down now cuz I'm studying for my CFP.

I just read 2 really good thrillers from David Baldacci - the camel club & the collectors.

Anyone read any good books lately??

oh that by krakauer?? Did u ever read any of his other books? I wanted to go climb everest after I read Into Thin Air. You should read Under the Banner of Heaven too if you like non-fiction like that. It's a scary history of the Mormon faith.

I love to read but don't really find the time to do it as much as I'd like. I've read a couple of Baldacci's books - he is good. My favorites are James Patterson (murder mystery) and Robin Cook (medical mystery).

when I go to the library this weekend, I'm gonna pick up a book by Vince Flynn. He's supposed to be a really good for the spy thriller type books :D

I have Atonement also that I have yet to read. I read the first few chapters ad it just feels too dense compared to the thrillers and suspense novels I've been reading lately.

I just finished Greenspan's book. Planning on reading something by Bernanke sometime soon.

He really tries to emphasize the fact that he is a classical economist. That is the thing that always sticks out in my mind. I'm thinking, okay, okay, I get it. Written very well so that it is easy to understand. All and all I say its a good read for anyone, especially to understand some basic economics concepts that everyone should really know.

the recent book i read was "The Kite Runner" By Khalid Hosseini. Very good book and made me get emotional a few times. The movie is similar to the book, but the book has more story to it and goes in detail on some of the events.

Another good book that i was forced to read in English class was "The Pact" Great story about 3 friends that were raised in the Ghetto's of Newark, and now are 3 successful doctors. Very motivating and inspiring.

The God Delusion is a great book about the separation of religion and science.

Cool ... I had seen Duma key on amazon's site but didn't look at reviews. I've been using amazon's reviews to find new books to borrow from the library.

Anyone read The Omnivore's Dillema yet?
