I had these before when I've been in Taiwan. I saw in a NYT article that they had them at the kings supermarket here in jersey. So I schlepped my ass out to the grocery store and bought three. They've got this really unique taste and I LOVED them when I had them in taiwan.

So finally I get my ass home and crack 'em open. Well the first 2 are freakin' ROTTEN :mad:

That so totally cooked my turd :madfu: I'm never buying exotic fruit from anywhere other than Chinatown ever again. Mainstream grocery stores just don't move enough inventory to keep this crap fresh.

i was surprised that i actually like it. it taste like a mild grape.
