  • issue with my phone

i have a Motorola Q9m (which by the shit is a piece of shit). anyways, i also have a 1 gig memory car that i store all my pics and videos in...somehow something went wrong and i transfered all my pictures to my card but when i try to access them through the phone or when i hook it up to the usb and look at it in my computer it gives me errors like "there is no apllication associated with 'o1o1o71108.jpg.e40aca54'. Run the application first and then open this fild inside the application. This is the error i get on my phone. I DONT KNOW WHAT FUCKIN PRGRAM I NEED TO OPEN THIS SHIT!?!

and when i try to look at the pic on my computer they all have little pictures of locks over the file and when i go to open them it give s me this error message

"you are attempting to open a MENC FILE (.menc)
these files are used by the operating system and many other programs. editing or modifying them could damage ur system."

    WTF IS A MENC FILE!?!?!

I HAVE A SHIT LOAD OF PICS AND VIDS JUST LOST

    CAN ANYONE HELP ME OUT!!!

Menc is windows mobile security for memory cards. I don't know how you accidentally added it to your system...the 'e40aca54' is the part of the file that tells you that the picture is now encrypted. Umm, I'm not entirely sure how to turn it off. It has to be in the settings on your phone or in control panel on your computer. Thats just what I got from doing a search for 'MENC' on google. So, no you did not lose them, but they are encrypted. What carrier do you have? If they have good tech support I would take the phone there because the encryption code is most likely either nothing or something simple if you did this on accident.

Take it to a Verizon tech, they should be able to fix it. Or you could try looking around through settings on the phone.
