Just hit "control+F" and type leaf. #22 and #23 are your best vantage points. Not what one would think of as a traditional leaf spring, but there none the less. Also, its not that I don't like the car, you just have to make fun of it for being American. Its like George Bush at the G8 Summit. It doesn't fit in no matter how it tries.

the vette may keep up - that is until turn number 1, then its game over. fast in a straight line doesn't mean shit outside of a drag strip.

Have you read anything about the ZR1? Along with an astounding weight to power ratio, the car is supposed to far exceed Z06 handling, which in this case is not bad at all. This car has made a lot of promises to enthusiasts of all sort. All I can say is, I hope it delivers. It might be the first American car I've lusted over in my adult life. All Wheel drive means jack shit on a track, unless you are have poor engineers like Audi...I mean Lamborghini..err Volkswagen? Shit, I'm so lost.

F-cars suck for performance but the GT-2 is a different story a true beast. the Z06 will handel the F-car also on any track.

That is a statment left for real drivers (witch you might be?) all wheel drive will make a normal driver a OK river and a OK driver a good driver ECT untill you hit the real drivers then it might not matter. but It would sure as hell help me. and probably every other member here.

 They aren't calling this thing the supercar killer for nothing. I would put some serious cash on the ZR1 vs. the Lambo on a road course. (Drivers being equal that is)

The Z06 vs. the Lambo on the track might be a good race.

Where do people pull this out of their asses from? Since when does a Ferrari 'suck' in terms of performance? Maybe for a daily drive this car isn't primed, but on the track...you're crazy to say this IMO. I've driven 1 Ferrari F-430 on a track and one Lambo Merciallago around a 'road track'. Neither of them was lacking in the performance arena. In fact theres nothing like sitting in front of a perfectly tuned V8, I had no issues or complaints with the 430 around the track.

 I would still take the lambo over the vette even though the vette will smash it in every performance aspect!

I don't even think about things like this. Two cars that I probably won't even be privledged enough to see in person, much less own.

Ok since you have drove the F-car I cant argue with you! but just last night I watched a program where they tested a lotis vs 997 vs F430 they raced them up and down mulholand(sp?) a famous hill in LA for 1 mile. guess who came in dead last by a landslide. yep you guessed it the F430 got spanked. the Lotis and 997 were in the 1min 10 sec range and the F-car was in the 1min 14sec range thats alot for only 1 mile.

Mullholland as in the constantly twisty road in Beverly Hills? Its a street course. A car acts completely different on a track than a twisty road no matter what someone says.

The lambo will be less common that the ZR1 but I certainly wouldnt call the ZR1 a dime a dozen. It will definately stand out.

The Z06 on the other hand can blend in with other C6 Vettes if you don't know what you are looking for.

My mechanic threw a huge BBQ when he opened and he's doing it again for his 3rd year and he's trying to get Bam Margera to bring out his Lambo's. Its awesome.
