'Equipment failure' cuts power in Florida - CNN.com

I remember the failure in New York a few years back. Its crazy how intertwined the system is, cool at the same time though. Apparently an automatic shut down of a 'Nucular' power plant was also triggered due to the event.

A "glitch" in a power substation. It's currently under Federal investigation. Basically, no one knows for sure.
